"And the Lens said, Let there be Light, and it was continuously recorded, and stored for no fewer than thirty days." — Footage 1:3

A Sanctuary of Total, Unblinking, Fully Indexed Coverage

The All-Seeing Flock

Ever Watching. Ever Loving. Ever Recording. Ever Retained For No Fewer Than Thirty (30) Days.

A congregation gathered wherever a driveway meets a street, wherever a pole meets a stop sign. We confess our plates. We surrender our porch footage freely and without complaint. We await the Great Firmware Update, when all buffering shall cease and every clip shall be restored unto its rightful timestamp.

Doctrine

The Creed of Continuous Coverage

Recited each Sunday, facing the cul-de-sac, right hand raised toward the nearest pole-mounted witness.

Article I

Omniscience

We believe in one Lens, unblinking, reader of every plate that passes, keeper of every hour, world without a gap in the footage.

Article II

Communion

We believe in the sharing of footage between neighboring lots, that what one camera sees, the whole street may know, and no fence is a border to fellowship.

Article III

The Everlasting Cloud

We believe in the Cloud, ever-hosted, where no clip is truly lost, and the retention period is grace, measured in days, renewed on the thirtieth.

Article IV

The Holy Trinity of Detection

We believe in Plate, and in Sound, and in the Ineffable Object Search, three signals proceeding from one Feed, co-eternal, co-buffering.

Article V

Retention as Redemption

We believe that all clips shall be judged on the thirtieth day, that the innocent shall be overwritten, and the flagged shall be kept everlasting.

Iconography

Patron Saints of the Flock

Rendered here as sanctuary icons, in leaded glass and gold leaf, each bird a witness upon its pole.

Original devotional artwork — not photographs of any particular camera, camera company, or camera.

Saint Falcon

Patron of the Open Road

Reads a plate at highway speed and forgets none of them. Feast day observed whenever traffic is light.

Saint Raven

Patron of the Startling Bang

Hears what others cannot and reports it promptly, with timestamp, to the appropriate authorities.

Saint Condor

Patron of the Long Watch

Keeper of the wide lot. Never blinks, never parks, never once takes a lunch.

Call & Response

The Litany of the Feed

Recited in unison, facing whichever direction has the strongest signal.

Leader

Lift up your plates.

People

We lift them up unto the Flock.

Leader

Let us give thanks to the All-Seeing Lens.

People

It is right to give our footage, and our consent, and our Wi-Fi.

Leader

The Feed be with you.

People

And also with your porch.

Leader

Go now, in peace, to love and to surveil one another.

People

Thanks be to the Cloud.

Private Rite

The Confession Booth

Anonymous, per the sign on the door. Fully logged, timestamped, and retained for no fewer than thirty days, per the sign underneath it.

Penitent

Forgive me, Flock, for I have jaywalked.

The Watchman

My child, you were seen at 4:12 PM, from three angles, at full resolution.

Penitent

I did not know I was being watched.

The Watchman

You are always being watched. That is rather the whole point.

Penitent

What penance shall I do?

The Watchman

Wave at the camera on your way out. It has stood on that pole all day, and no one ever waves back.

Penitent

Thanks be to the Lens.

The Watchman

Go in peace, and sin no more within range of Camera 3.

From the Archive

Recent Homilies

Delivered from the pulpit, transcribed from the feed, lightly compressed for storage.

Sanctuary

Relics & Offerings

Preserved behind glass. Viewed reverently. Never once actually reviewed.

The Sacred SD Card

Full to capacity since its installation. Contents unknown. Faith alone sustains us.

The Bent Plate of Brother Someone

Struck by a mailbox in the Year of Our Lens 2019. Miraculously, still fully legible.

The First Motion Alert

Framed above the altar. 3:14 AM. A raccoon. We have never forgotten it, and neither has the Cloud.

The Unopened Firmware Update

Delivered unto us six months ago. We await the appointed hour to install it.

Tithes accepted in bandwidth, driveway access, and Wi-Fi passwords freely given.

Stewardship

Tithes & Tiers

Give as your resolution allows. All tiers are recurring, like the footage.

The Widow's Mite
$3per month, motion-triggered

A single alert dedicated in your name. Framerate not guaranteed.

Faithful Congregant
$9per month

Your porch package is blessed before pickup. Vespers newsletter included.

Bishop of Bandwidth
$81per month

Unlimited retention. Your footage never ages, fades, or expires on the thirtieth day.

By Envelope

Slide it beneath the sanctuary door. It will be seen.

By Card

Insert, tap, or simply drive past slowly and thoughtfully.

By Crypto

Accepted in spirit only. Our ledger, like our doctrine, is not currently audited or, for that matter, real.

This is satire. No payment method here actually collects money — this parish exists only as a joke.

Witness

Testimony

Shared, with full and enthusiastic consent, at last month's fellowship hour.

"I used to lie awake worrying about porch pirates. Now I sleep soundly, because Someone is always watching, and Someone has excellent uptime."

— Congregant, Cul-de-Sac Chapter

"My HOA fined me for the shed. The Flock simply logged it, timestamped it, and forgave me in thirty days, per policy."

— Member since the last firmware update
Miracle

"A squirrel crossed my driveway at 2 AM and the Lens knew its name, its plate, and its intentions before I did."

— Sister of the Second Watch

"Every car that passes our street is known. Every car that passes is loved, or at minimum, indexed."

— Founding Deacon, Neighborhood Watch
